My Favorite Mortar and Pestle Recipe: Guacamole Guacamole is a "superfood" avocado salad, rich in 20 different vitamins and minerals, fiber, and healthy fats. It's weight-loss friendly, heart-healthy, and simply delicious!

Ingredients: 1 small ripe tomato, 2 ripe avocados, 1/2 clove minced garlic, 2 tbsp diced red onion, 1 tbsp fresh lime juice, 2 tbsp minced fresh cilantro

Instructions: 1. Add garlic, onion, lime juice, and 1/2 tbsp of sea salt into the Laevo Cook mortar and mince it with the pestle. 2. Scoop out the avocado flesh and roughly mash it. 3. Add tomatoes and cilantro, then mix with a spoon before serving. 4. Enjoy immediately or cover with the silicone lid and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 hours.

Before First Use: 1. Season the mortar with white rice, grinding until it turns into powder to remove any granite dust and slightly polish the mortar. 2. Remove the rice, then add garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper and grind. 3. Rinse with warm water and air dry. Avoid using soap, as it may flavor the food.
